Warehouse Supervisor

Essential job functions include:

-Management leadership and guidance for the 2nd shift operation including warehouse and repacking.
-Activities include establishing policies, setting goals and handling day-to-day management activities, interfacing with customers, etc.
-Responsibility for assisting Operations Manager with customer satisfaction with all on-site activities.
-Works with customer staff and supervisory team to ensure all customer and associate concerns are addressed.
-Responsibility for assisting in operational improvement projects to meet annual performance targets set by customer and internally.
-Investigating and coordinating response to any customer claims (delivery or safety) to determine root cause and appropriate countermeasures.
-Assist Operations Manager in Supervising monthly invoicing process to ensure all charges are invoiced accurately and on-schedule.
-Negotiates plan and cost for additional work requests from customer.
-Ensuring daily operational needs are met by directing supervisors and team leaders as required.
-Assist Operations Manager with directing the measurement of each department's performance and productivity.
-Ensuring that all policies and procedures are developed, business plan strategies, time lines, goals, etc. are monitored and followed.
-Leading associate training and review process through individual meetings and group meetings. Mentors and develops employees regarding the Company's philosophy and business practices.

Working hours: 5:15 PM - 2:00 AM

Skills:
Successful candidates for position demonstrate verifiable experience directing multiple teams in a warehouse environment. Familiarity with standardized production/lean management principles is essential as is a sophisticated understanding of root cause investigation and countermeasure of operational deficiencies. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience is required. Superior communication and team-building skills and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-based environment are a must. Experience in cross cultural management environments.
