Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, necessary support equipment, fork trucks, pumps, motors and controllers, furnaces, waste water treatment system, etc.
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance. Perform regular safety inspections. Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit and electrical apparatus. Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines.
Working hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints and other business related periodicals, journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as plane and solid geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to problem solve and work as a team player.
College or technical school certificate in Industrial Maintenance or two to four years of related experience required. Must possess a high school diploma. Must be able to be certified as a forklift operator. Preferred qualification as an electrician. Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and a background check.
