The Warehouse Associate is responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth in the Operations Procedures Manual. She or he provides support for production and warehouse process which ranges from material receipts, routing and staging via the use of hand tools and equipment within the warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist in shipping/receiving, uploading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing
-Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated area
-Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to pre-determined sequence such as size, type, color, or product code
-Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
-Assisting in counting of physical inventory
-May be assigned facilities housekeeping and maintenance duties as needed, such as sweeping, wiping, dusting, cleaning, and mopping
Working hours: 8:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Knowledge & Abilities
-High school diploma
-6+ months related experience
-Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
-Meet and exceed minimum productivity levels established by the company
-Able to lift 30lbs-50lbs
-Can stand for a long period of time
