As a turret truck/single aisle forklift operator, you will drive a powered industrial truck with a hydraulic mechanism to lift and move heavy goods. In a fast paced manufacturing warehouse, you will perform tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another. You will be expected to track and maintain manual inventory records. You may also inspect lifts before use and participate in training sessions for license renewal as well as the specific on-site training with your supervisor.
Working hours: 1:00 PM - 1:00 PM
--Operating a turret truck (also known as a narrow aisle forklift) to maneuver through the warehouse to move products
--Using wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
--Adhering to quality standards set forth by the company
--Inspecting and performing maintenance of forklifts and other material-handling equipment
--Identifying safety hazards in the workplace
--Maintaining concentration over a long period of time
--Completing and passing forklift requirements as directed by OSHA
--At least 1 year of forklift driving experience
--Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
--Dexterity, focused hand-eye coordination
--Attention to detail and accuracy
--Attention to safety precautions and common sense
This is a temporary-to-hire position. Individual training lasts 2 weeks and will be held during first shift from 7:00am until 3:00pm. Once fully trained, you will be moved to second shift and working from 1:00pm until 9:00pm. Hourly wage is between $14 and $16 based on level of experience.
