Responsible for operating equipment in the areas of coating, compounding, and/or converting. This role allows for someone to quickly solve problems in a technical environment in which no two days are the same. A Machine Operator is responsible for the production of valuable, defect-free products that meet or exceed our customers' expectations.
Regular Hours(after training)-5:50pm-6:00am
*Must be able to train on day shift for 3 months to two years before transitioning to night shift
*This is a 12 hour rotating shift position, must be able to work scheduled weekends as required
-Setup and operate machines following production specifications
-Weigh, catalyze and mix coatings
-Perform in-process inspections and quality testing to ensure accuracy
-Operate material handling equipment
-Maintain quality standards while meeting daily and weekly production goals
-Record production data in company ERP system
-Ensure equipment is properly secured and cleaned to ensure a safe working environment.
-All other duties as assigned
Working hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
-Basic computer and math skills
-Ability to read, troubleshoot and follow written instructions
-Printing Industry(such as Quad/Graphics)
-Hand Tool Experience
-High School diploma or equivalent
-Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly & stand for 80% of shift
-Good mechanical aptitude experience
-Desire to work in a fast pace, detail oriented, and positive environment
-Ability to work overtime and some weekends
