Electronic Maintenance Technician
The Electronic Maintenance Technician responsible for the industrial electrical and electronic and mechanical maintenance of our cables. This role also maintains auxiliary equipment and is a key player in our ongoing automation plans. This position will perform a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance work to maintain electrical systems, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and more.
Promotes quality by maintaining operating condition of building and equipment; completing repairs.
Installs, maintains, repairs and adjusts a variety of electrical equipment such as motors, lighting circuits, fixtures, switches, robots controls and secondary process equipment. Diagnose and correct difficulties to minimize production interruptions.
Maintains and installs piping, fittings, valves, gauges, traps and all types of controls for high and low pressure hydraulic systems and steam and air lines.
Lubricates machines and equipment and performs other plant maintenance work as required.
Review and maintain proper supply inventories and preparing supply requisition orders.
Checks and records oil level, clamp pressure, oil temperature, clutch pressure.
Vacuum oil from tops of machines and oil catch trays.
Keep complete and up-to-date records of repairs and items used for the repairs.
Follows all safety, housekeeping and company polices and procedures.
Promotes guest relations; anticipates and responds to needs of others; provides assistance in a courteous, quick manner; treats others with care and respect, maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
Working hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
A strong mechanical aptitude in the safe repair and troubleshooting of industrial production machinery is necessary
The successful candidates must have knowledge and skills required to diagnose, repair, and maintain rotating equipment, mechanical drive systems, high speed converting machinery, and material conveyance systems
Good communication and basic computer skills are also required
Successful graduation from an accredited Industrial Maintenance Technician program or similar work experience
3+ Years of related job experience in a Maintenance Technician position in a manufacturing/industrial environment
Electrical or Mechanical Journeyman's license
Proven maintenance experience with mechanical, electrical (high and low voltage), hydraulics, pneumatics, heating, PLCs, Servo controls, closed loop controls, robotics
Ability to troubleshoot and edit Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
This is a full time/permanent position! This position will require overtime as needed. The hours for the shifts available are 7p-7a. The pay for the position ranges from $23-27/hr+, depending on experience.
