Our client, a Fortune 500 Corporation in the heavy equipment industry, is seeking a full time direct hire Manufacturing Technician for a 7a-7:30p shift.
The hourly pay for this position ranges from $18-22/hr depending on experience with opportunities for overtime! The main function of this position is to measure performance, support the team in identifying process improvements to enhance the working environment.
Making sure the assembly line is working in order and identifying and areas for process improvements
Making sure all resources are being utilized effectively
Interacting and working closely with Operations, Engineering, project teams and Quality
Maintain quality, delivery, production and safety on the floor
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proven track record leading teams with the ability to effectively communicate across the comany
Must be a team player with effective decision making skills
Attention to detail is a must
A minimum of 3-5 years working in a Manufacturing Technician role
Must have knowledge of fastening methods, testing, PLC's and automation experience
Assembly background with knowledge of tooling, technical drawings, preventative maintenance and general repair
Must be able to diagnose equipment problems and have a working knowledge of SPC, Capability, Gage R&R
