Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic

This enables us to efficiently service residences, businesses, restaurant chains, hotels and motels, small and large retailers, and healthcare facilities.
You will be responsible for the scheduled, unscheduled and preventative maintenance and repair of a wide variety of beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment requiring a strong mechanical skills base to include: hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyor systems and PLC usage.
Work with line mechanics to assure the completion of preventative maintenance plans on equipment and machinery to assure efficient and safe operating conditions.
Investigates and diagnoses to resolve production problems in a timely manner utilizing line operators, mechanics, and lab technicians.
PLC skilled and preventive maintenance focused.
Acts as the "first responder" when a line stops producing and assures that the appropriate mechanical help is on site to correct any problems quickly.
Prioritizes work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, tools and utility systems to minimize manufacturing downtime.
Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing or repairs.
Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
Analyze test results, machine error messages or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary.
Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.
Examine objects, systems or facilities and analyze information to determine needed repairs.
Proven proficiency working with Basic Tool Room Equipment, Hydraulic systems, Programmable Logic Controllers and Ladder Logic.
Working hours: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM
3+ years experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance is a must!
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
