The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely performing and/or supervising the installation, maintenance,
repair, and upkeep of the building systems and equipment. This position pays $17-$25 per hour depending on
??? Schedule and perform preventative maintenance work.
??? Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with production, purchasing, and manufacturing engineering
??? Process facility work orders as requested.
??? Proactively inspect building facilities to identify maintenance needs.
??? Develop and maintain safe maintenance practices such as fall protection, PPE, etc.
??? Maintain documentation and training of facility equipment.
??? Train employees on operation and basic service of production equipment.
??? Coordinate facility service suppliers (security, fire detection and protection, HVAC, etc).
??? Represent company during interactions with property management.
??? Maintain MRO inventories; accountable for ordering and usage of MRO stock.
??? Maintain clean and organized common facility areas as well as maintenance/repair areas.
Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Mechanical and Electrical skills are a plus. Must have worked on machine in the past.
2+ years??? experience in building/facility maintenance.
??? Experience in trades: Carpentry, Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC.
??? Good understanding of building code regulations.
??? Knowledge of OSHA regulations and procedures such as lockout tag-out.
??? Experience working safely with hand and power tools.
??? Ability to operate a forklift and/or scissor lift.
??? Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage maintenance requests.
??? Must be a team player with ability to handle multiple tasks and follow-up on requests.
??? Excellent root cause analysis and problem solving ability.
??? Good interpersonal, writing, speaking, and coordinating skills.
??? Schedule flexibility and willingness to work overtime when required.
??? Must be able to perform well under pressure.
