Inventory - Warehouse
Description: Under Limited supervision, performs a wide variety of Inventory Control functions, including picking material, material put-away, cycle count, computer inventory transactions, packing, shipping, receiving, unloading trucks, loading trucks, warehouse maintenance, warehouse consolidation, measurement and identification of components and cross trains in lateral positions as required. Uses a variety of tools including but not limited to computers, label makers, packing equipment, pallet jacks, forklifts, portable bar-code scanners, DVM (Digital Volt Meters), reel counters, tape & reel machines etc.
Basic knowledge of the assigned functions is preferred, but will consider those with limited or no prior experience.
Ability to meet physical demands of position with or without reasonable accommodation
Normal color vision
Stockroom material experience with electronic components preferred
Demonstrated ability to work accurately with numbers required.
MRP knowledge and experience preferred.
Demonstrated self-management and problem solving skills.
Detail oriented, accuracy and thoroughness required.
Ability to prioritize and organize several activities to meet daily requirements.
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Demonstrated ability to follow manufacturing processes and procedures required.
Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of personnel throughout manufacturing required.
Component identification knowledge.
Possess good written and oral communication skills.
Data entry ability.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Ability to read, write and communicate English.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations ( add, subtract, divide)
Ability to understand and adhere to all Vanguard's policies, processes and workplace guidelines
Approximately one - three years of related experience in a similar role, and/or environment.
