Order Selector

Family owned and grown Tampa company located in zip 33619 is looking for experienced Order Selectors to join their team and work in their warehouse on a temp to hire basis immediately!! This company provides and distributes multi-family household goods and appliances such as windows, flooring, plumbing, hardware, pool supplies and electrical and lighting products, just to name a few.

Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for reading a pick ticket
- Will be responsible for picking the items on the pick ticket in a timely and accurate manner
- Will be operating an electric pallet jack
- Will be operating a sit down forklift
- Must be able to work independently after a two week training period
- Will be responsible for picking a number of orders a day, staging them and wrapping them while someone else checks the accuracy of them. May be responsible for checking the accuracy of others orders as well.

Working hours: 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM

Skills:
- Must have at least two solid year of working in a warehouse picking items and building orders
- Must have a minimum of two years operating both an electric pallet jack and a sit down forklift (We do call references )
- Must have solid job longevity
- Must understand how to read a pick ticket
- Must be able to take direction but also work independently and achieve goal set forth by Manager
- Someone who is open to lending a helping hand if others are behind or other departments need help

Education:
High School

Experience:
Experienced

Qualifications:
- At least one solid year of warehouse order picking/building experience
- Must have a minimum of two years operating both an electric pallet jack and a sit down forklift (We do call references )
-Must be okay with working until finish which could be an 8 hour shift, 9 hours shift and even a 10 hour shift depending on when the work is finished
- Someone who is looking for a 2rd shift since your shift will always be third, at least while you are on Randstad's payroll
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to adhere to a 6 panel drug test as well as a background check
