The Shipping & Receiving Clerk's primary purpose is to ensure that inventory coming into the warehouse matches what was ordered in terms of quantity, cost and quality and that shipments are processed to ship in a timely and accurate manner. The position is responsible for working with our vendors to resolve any of these discrepancies on a timely basis. The detailed inspection of product and documents is an important part of the position.
Experience in all facets of shipping, including but not limited to, FedEx, UPS, DHL, LTL
Experience processing Domestic and International shipments
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to read, understand and interpret written instructions
Must have excellent customer service/vendor relations skills
Experience with and understanding of inventory transactions
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Warehouse/Stockroom experience preferred
Strong work ethic (willingness to work hard and long hours, if needed)
Physical ability to work standing all day while moving about entire warehouse
Highly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with a strong attention to detail
High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to lift 50 lbs.
