Work with line mechanics to assure the completion of preventative maintenance plans on equipment and machinery to assure efficient and safe operating conditions.
Investigates and diagnoses to resolve production problems in a timely manner utilizing line operators, mechanics and lab technicians.
Perform mechanic skills, including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting; and the repairing of equipment and machines.
Read and interpret safety documentation, equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Acts as the "first responder" when a line stops producing and assures that the appropriate mechanical help is on site to correct any problems quickly.
Accurate and comprehensive completion of daily paperwork documentation.
Support the facility's safety and quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results.
Prioritizes work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools and utility systems to minimize manufacturing downtime.
Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing or repairs.
Analyze test results, machine error messages or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary.
Reviews maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.
Ensures production equipment is ready for use by completing preventative maintenance requirements, and recommending third-party service repairs when necessary.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Required Education, Work Experience & Certifications:
3+ years experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
