We are currently looking to hire Assemblers III and V for our large customer in Tualatin.
General overview: Navigate computer-based work instructions to install parts and hardware using hand tools and fixtures if needed; on wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) in a Lean manufacturing clean-room environment. May serve as primary trainer for other assemblers on specific job functions. Demonstrated ability to perform all operations on designated product line. Effectively escalates issues and assists Leads, Supervisors and Engineers with troubleshooting issues.
-Performs all functions and responsibilities of an Assembler I and II, including navigating work instructions, using hand tools, visual inspection, installing parts, and performing rework.
-Performs all operations on designated product line (e.g. Final Assembly, Sub Assembly, Feeder Bay, Preship, NPI, etc...)
-May be a lead assembler with minimal to no assistance
-Dispositions NCI???s and escalate issues to engineering
-Mentors others on continuous improvement
-Effectively escalates issues and assists Leads, Supervisors and Engineers with troubleshooting issues
-Review's and suggest recommended improvements to work instructions.
-Participates in Kaizen as primary team member
-Performs audits through visual inspection and verifying checklists; document findings per procedure
-Completes rework; identifying and documenting nonconfomances
Working hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
-Certified on Inline Inspections, visual inspections, and quality checks
-Previous experience in leadership or training.
-Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
-Able to utilize computer-based data systems and applications
-Able to navigate and uses Microsoft Office software -(e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
-Understanding of continuous improvement
-Lean Six Sigma White Belt training preferred but not required.
-High school education or GED preferred
-Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
-2 to 5 Years of semiconductor capital equipment industry experienced preferred but not required.
Candidates must be willing to work a consolidated schedule, involving three or four, twelve hour shifts per week.
