Job Summary:
-Directs, supervises and schedules all daily activities of assigned warehouse personnel to insure the maximum utilization and efficient use of space and safety of the staff.
-Stock Maintenance by continually monitoring and maintaining min/max inventory levels.
-Oversee warehousing and storage of all materials.
-Maintain inventory records whether computerized or on paper filing. Conduct weekly cycle counts and quarterly inventories.
-Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
-Supervise the receipt of all shipments into Warehouse from various vendors, qualify physical count with bill of lading.
-Coordinates and communicates all necessary operational daily planning activities of warehousing with Sales, Transportation, Purchasing, and other appropriate office personnel.
-Hires, trains, and evaluates the warehouse staff.
-Performs at all times in a manner consistent with Company policies, procedures, and practices to preserve the Company's image and status for offering preferred customer service

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
-Effective interpersonal skills
-Computer literate; knowledge of WMS system Manhattan SCALE is preferred
-Strong reasoning, analytical, and organizational skills
-Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with seasonality

Education:
High School

Experience:
Experienced

Qualifications:
-Requires 1 to 3 years supervisory experience in the distribution, warehousing, or related industry desired.
-Previous forklift sit down or standing with certification.
-Knowledge of food safety and defense, audits and inspections in the distribution industry is desirable.
-Strong leadership attributes.
-Effective computer, written and oral communication skills. Adaptable to changing work environment.
-Ability to perform in a team environment and work closely with all other service support staff and teams.
-Able to lift a minimum of 50 LBs on the job site.
-Able to bend and lift with full body motion.
-Flexible working hours for Overtime (not required).
-High School diploma or GED.
