Summary: Under the direction of the SharePoint Solutions Technical Manager, the incumbent will be creating solutions to meet customer needs and will support the design, development, and maintenance of solutions through all stages of the solution lifecycle. The SharePoint Solutions Business Analyst will solve technical challenges to meet customer specifications and provide creative solutions to meet those needs.

Essential Functions:

Design & Development

  • Create and develop CSOM solutions, SharePoint Designer workflows, and InfoPath forms
  • Provide input to the SharePoint Solutions Technical Manager for planning, estimating, and scheduling of work
  • Create, leverage and manage content types and site columns for re-use in the sites

Business Analyst

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to effectively manage, prioritize, and deliver technical requests
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to provide innovative business solutions
  • Assist users in leveraging Enterprise Features, e.g.: Excel Services, Workflow, Custom Lists, Forms (InfoPath) - liaise with IT Department and communicate back to business
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional committees being the IT representative


  • Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions


  • Set up and manage alerts to monitor activity on business critical solutions as required
  • Maintain existing business solutions as required, including, but not limited to enhancements and support
  • Monitor usage of new and existing business processes
  • Proactively seek out opportunities for improvement for existing business solutions based upon usage findings
  • Provide end-user training on SharePoint functionality and developed solutions
  • Provide daily production system support when required, including outside of normal business hours on occasion
  • First line of day-to-day support for users
  • Provide input to support uniform navigation throughout SharePoint

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Management
  • Overall 3 - 5 years of experience in Information Technology in either a Developer or SharePoint role
  • 3+ years in SharePoint 2013 with CSOM
  • 3+ years in SharePoint 2013 Designer and Designer 2013 workflows
  • 3+ years in InfoPath
  • 3+ years in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery
  • Solid understanding of software life cycle stages
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
  • Highly motivated and self-learner
  • Exposure to .NET languages a plus
