Project Manager, Enterprise Project Management Office






The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) ensures the "Company" portfolio of programs and projects is aligned and executing according to the strategic objectives and goals. This includes working with the management at all levels and project teams to manage budget, resources, communications, critical issue / risk resolution, and sponsorship of all projects providing a bridge between business strategy and project delivery. The EPMO develops, maintains, and distributes standardized processes, procedures, templates, and tools to be leveraged across the organization

As Project Manager, the associate will be assigned to high priority projects and programs as needed. The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the successful completion and delivery of any assigned projects. The associate will oversee project teams, work streams, quality management, financial management, and the methods, standards, and guidelines for the project. The Project Manager is a liaison between the business and the EPMO, and has responsibility for maintaining the integrity of EPMO standards at the project level. The Project Manager may also be required to attend process reviews, engagement reviews, and senior management reviews for their respective projects.

As EPMO Analyst, this position will contribute to the implementation and ongoing activities of the EPMO program. This includes the definition and implementation of processes and tools used to support project selection, monitor project execution, assess results, create reports, administer the PPM platform, and develop the project management capability throughout the "Company".

Associate will report to the Director, EPMO and may be matrixed to manage projects as needed.

Essential functions for this role include:

- Lead projects and program as assigned

- Adhere to and enforce project standards set forth by the EPMO

- Develop integrated project plans to achieve approved scope within set budget and schedule

- Responsible for project team execution of all project deliverables (requirements, design, etc.)

- Ensure quality by working with the EPMO to provide onboarding, orientation, training, and process / tool support to project teams

- Define project team roles and responsibilities

- Submit / support requests for scope, budget, schedule changes as required

- Manage project level reporting

- Drive resolution of project risk and issues and escalate as required

- Resolve project conflicts

- Develop, monitor & track business cases

- Assist or lead efforts to develop and implement project portfolio and project management (PPM) processes and tools

- Work with the EPMO team to periodically generate and provide reports on project status to management

- Work as part of a team to define, implement and monitor processes and standards for Project Management (i.e.; the PMLC)

- Other duties as assigned


If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:

- BA/BS or equivalent work-related experience; MBA/MA preferred

- 5 to 7 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years of experience leading project teams

- Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of project portfolio management, project management, and best practices

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Effective interpersonal and negotiating skills

- Knowledge and experience of project tools / artifacts including project plan, dependency management, issues and risk management, resource / capacity management, financial management

- Working knowledge of project management tools, such as Daptiv or MS Project

- Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues

- Ability to execute plan and follow through with set objectives; ability to adhere to and enforce deadlines

- Ability to communicate with roles of all levels within organization

- Demonstrates leadership and willingness to take accountability for results

- Strong planning and organizational skills

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Presentation and facilitation skills

- PMP (Project Management Professional) strongly preferred

- Prior EPMO or PMO Experience preferred
