Based onsite at the Customer's location; the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for processing orders, researching and analyzing customer inquiries as well as handling complaints received by management or other sources within Expeditors.
Must offer superb customer service skills with demonstrated time management, effective communication skills and problem resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Understands basic administrative functions of Customer Service area
? Able to handle routine customer calls / emails on multiple communication platforms prioritizing based on urgency
? Manage his/her communication queue and be able to prioritize according to the customers' requirements
? Maintain training and knowledge of current customer/company policies regarding all aspects of product movement.
? Must be able to research customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
? Maintain records of all customer interactions and transactions to include all inquiries, comments, complaints and resolution decisions
? Communicate professionally with customers by telephone, email, video conference, and face-to-face
? Investigate and solve the customer's problems (these may be more complex or long-standing issues)
? Produce documentation/data for customers when requested and be prepared to present results to management and customer.
? Able to articulate clearly with other managers to discuss possible improvements in process and or customer service provided

? Previous experience in Logistics and/or customer service roles
? Effective and professional communication skills
? Ability to define, develop & document business processes and procedures
? Excellent customer service skills
? Self starter and the ability to work in a fast pace environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
? Knowledge of Google Apps such as Sheets and Docs are a plus
