Development Technician

Development Technician:

Randstad Technologies Fortune 500 client has a need for a Development Technician supports the development of new equipment technologies by providing analytical support (testing reporting and observation) building prototypes and establishing testing procedures and processes. The candidate must have strong mechanical and electrical capabilities and be disciplined in the setup and collection of lab and field test data to provide accurate detailed results. Refrigeration and fluidics experience is preferred but not required. This positions supports North America R&D Equipment Development. Plan and execute tests of new equipment and technologies to ensure products will work. Monitor and audit installations to validate performance and reliability. Design fabricate and evaluate a working equipment prototype against technical requirements fit to concept or performance specifications to confirm functionality and operational feasibility. Write detailed and accurate reports for analyses experiments or projects (e.g. equipment validation evaluation of new processes. Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation (e.g. troubleshooting conducting preventative maintenance calibrating and repairing).

The R&D Technician supports the qualification of new products on dispensing equipment by analyzing the physical properties of the product conducting performance testing and performing lab experiments.

The R&D Technician will manage the testing report observations and file detailed reports. The candidate must have experience running lab experiments and be disciplined in the setup and collection of lab data to provide accurate detailed results. This position supports R&D Equipment Development.

Key duties include:

1.) Plan and execute tests of new products to ensure compatibility with supply chain and equipment.

2.) Write detailed and accurate reports for analyses experiments or projects.

3.) Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation (e.g. troubleshooting conducting preventative maintenance calibrating and repairing).

4.) Assist with the setup of Equipment and Product Demos
