UI/Visual Designer Designer
UI Designer needed for Contract Opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.
Our client is looking for software experience pioneers to help create new products to transform the Modern Workplace.
Their team uses deep customer research paired with design thinking to concept, build, and ship products that will improve the way people get work done each day.
We are looking for an experienced and talented User Interface Designer to help design and craft our unique mixed reality products and experiences. This will include menus, buttons, logos, etc in 3D.
You're a well-rounded individual with strong visual, motion, interaction, and problem-solving abilities, and you possess the desire to build delightful, sophisticated and efficient user experiences. You have experience designing for VR/AR/2D, and collaborating with developers, technical artists, UX designers and project managers. You are driven by curiosity and you are an active learner.
Define the visual language and user interface for new enterprise offerings.
Produce high-quality visual designs - from concept to implementation.
Create a wide variety of 2D/3D assets.
Develop motion pre-visualizations (Adobe After Effects).
Work closely with Technical Artists and Software Engineers on feature prototypes.
Identify and articulate new design patterns suitable across multiple products
Document design decisions for consumption by the broader design studio team, as well as key partner teams
Contribute to a culture of sharing, high ambition and high-quality standards.
Passion for invention, human computer interaction, and seamless user experiences
Confident presenting and promoting design solutions
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
1+ years' experience in 3D packages is a requirement, Unity and Maya experience are a plus
2+ years' experience crafting delightful interactive experiences in AR/VR/2D
Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team of designers and developers
Self-motivated and comfortable with the ambiguities inherent in creative work
Knowledge of user-centered design approaches and standard interaction design methodologies
Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Ability to write documentation and develop style guides
