Program Director

Role and Responsibilities

The Program Director plays a critical role within Company's Data Mining & Audit (DMA) Group, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Technology, DMA. In this role, you focus on running and growing our business with direct oversight of our services delivery model. This includes constructing a program framework, managing service priorities, executing programs and leading a team of project managers.

· Have a strong history of successful program and project delivery in a Software domain

You have the following qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

· Five (+) years as a Project Manager or Service Delivery Manager in a Software or IT Services company. Medical Claims or related Healthcare domains preferred

· Two (+) years as a Program Manager

· Project Management experience with Software Development methods such as Lean and Agile

You can competently demonstrate these skills:

· Core Discipline Competencies

o Working knowledge of Project Office fundamentals

o Working knowledge of standard reporting structures for projects, resourcing and finance

o Strong Stakeholder relationship skills; consensus building, adoption and approval

o Strong Program and Project planning skills; including communication planning, change management, milestones, risk mitigation and remediation

· Core Management Skills

o Ability to lead distributed teams, including on and off shore, across time zones

o Ability to set, uphold and improve practices within the team

o Ability to manage change and resolve conflict

o Ability to set personal goals, monitor progress and instill accountability

· Technology Fundamentals

o Understanding of Software Development lifecycle and roles

o Understanding of Software and System components

o Basic understanding of Database fundamentals

o Basic understanding of Software Quality Assurance methods

o Basic understanding of release and delivery environment and practices
