Implementation Lead / Sr. Applications Manager
Our client is looking for a Sr. Applications Manager / Implementation Lead for a 9-12 month project in Roseville, CA.
This person is responsible for implementation, maintenance, and support of assigned applications to ensure that the Bank's business and operating needs are met. Incumbent is required to be knowledgeable on all assigned systems, providing support to business units in resolving issues and carrying out business goals. This position is accountable for applying and integrating strong banking and technical systems expertise to minimize disruption to Bank processes. Must have the ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action and adapt to change.
Serves as a consultant to management, and other business units.
Beyond meeting functional business requirements, ensures solution development meets non-functional requirements, including availability, capacity, scalability, usability, business continuity, performance, reliability, and alignment with IT best practices.
Able to perform analysis of business processes.
Serves as application expert for assigned systems.
Independently solves complex problems with high quality and in a timely manner using technical expertise and application knowledge.
Monitors performance and consults with the "Projects and Changes Team" for upgrades and enhancements.
Recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
Develops appropriate disaster recovery plans and tests applications periodically.
Plan and perform Life Cycle Management (upgrades and patches).
Perform unit testing of enhancements and changes.
Monitor vendor patches and release notices and plan maintenance.
Autonomous without direct supervision.
System Ownership of assigned applications.

Minimum 5 years IT-related experience.
