Project Manager

job summary:
Marketing Project Manager

Basic Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will work closely with marketing managers and internal creative and production resources to deliver key marketing activities and programs, including campaigns, events, print and digital advertising and social media.

To be successful in this role, it is critical the candidate be detail-oriented and organized. Strong organizational, communication and project management skills, coupled with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are required.

This position will afford the opportunity to collaborate across the divisional marketing teams, corporate communications, executive team members and leaders, and internal and external marketing resources.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Establishment and building of strong relationships across marketing and Art Department resources
  • Project management of marketing projects and campaigns for the Art Department in support of divisional and internal marketing teams
  • Timeline management
  • Status reporting
  • Industry analysis and prospect research (when necessary)
  • Coordinating the approval process with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency of corporate standards
  • Other duties as assigned by the Creative Director
Business/Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, and 4 years relevant experience marketing or comparable project management
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Workfront or other project management software/applications
Skills & Experience:

  • Proven record of successful multi-project management
  • Experience creating and managing detailed work plans based on defined scope and objectives
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience managing integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including paid, earned and owned media channels
  • Experience managing project budgets
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
Personal Attributes:

  • Strong organization skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic; able to operate independently and with minimal supervision
