Integration Specialist

job summary:
As an Continuous Integration and Deployment Expert, you are responsible for defining standards of the Software Development Platform. You will provide technical QA oversight. You are an orchestrator between various stakeholders, including suppliers, IT teams, management and architects in an agile environment. You are involved in current and future state definitions of your domain and provide input for the Business Information Plan.

Your objective is to provide an optimal environment for development teams to focus on actual development instead of tool selection, configuration and maintenance.

  • Support projects in utilizing services in your domain
  • Define and refine the Software Development Platform services
  • Liaise with product vendors regarding product roadmaps and operational topics
  • Liaise with sourcing vendors regarding delivery of outsourced (managed) services.
  • Define and refine architectural standards and guidelines for the Software Development Platform, in alignment with Lead Architect and platform users (demand).
  • Support requests for architectural exceptions, in alignment with Lead Architect.
  • Create and maintain roadmap, based on alignment with lead architects, platform users, market research and management direction.
  • Liaise with development team to support them on effective and efficient SDP usage and drive adoption.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and guidelines and perform QA assessments.
  • Support management in creation of Business Information Plan, aligned with architectural roadmap for the services you support
  • Technical escalation point for Application Maintenance provider, provide 4th level support
  • Monitor, analyze and manage usage. Perform platform capacity management.
  • Be a backup TE for one or more of the other enterprise platforms

  • Bachelor or master degree
  • Proven expert knowledge of the software development lifecycle process (SDLC)
  • Proven expert knowledge in a variety of mainstream development tools
  • Good English communication skills verbally and in writing
  • Eager to learn new technologies
  • Able to analyze complex technology issues and collaborate with other technical experts
  • Experienced in working closely with software vendors
  • Team player, able to work in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Strong proven development background, preferably in Java and .NET
  • Solid hands-on experience implementing CI/CD solutions, preferably using VSTS.
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies:

    • VSTS / TFS
    • Jenkins
    • Maven
    • Tosca
    • SonarQube / Sonarlint
    • HP Quality Center
    • HockyApp
    • Xamarin Test Cloud
