Helpdesk/Support Technician

job summary:
Randstad Technologies is currently seeking a Helpdesk/Support Associate. This is a unique opportunity to join a team to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and world-class customer service to our internal team in the field!

salary: $23 - 28 per hour
work hours: 8 to 5
education: High School
 
responsibilities:
Respond to employee and field telephone inquiries concerning support, processing or request procedures, system status

and network connectivity, and a variety of hardware/software problems of all installed application hardware/software

products supported by IT

- Record inquiries, repair, and service requests

- Resolve less complex problems immediately or directs inquiries to appropriate technical area or vendor

- Track status of all requests and provides follow-up to ensure employee satisfaction

- Escalate requests to or consults with senior staff when solution is unclear

- Report problems with procedures and makes suggestions for improvement

 
qualifications:
- 3-5 years of technology based call center experience (Helpdesk)

- 3-5 years of overall PC tech experience

- 3-5 years of experience w/ Windows XP

- 1-3 years of remoting experience
