AEM Forms Developer

job summary:
The Desired Candidate will focus on AEM Forms development for multi-channel delivery across Consumer, Clinical and Workforce sites and applications.

Support will include assisting business users with questions, troubleshooting both business and technical issues, and the application itself. The position will partner with the following staff: Project Managers for technical consultation, Business Partners for requirements and feedback, and System Developers.

In addition, the position may be required to troubleshoot/unit test sites prior to production launch and partner with other IT staff for onsite requirements. Other responsibilities will include vendor knowledge/experience to ensure both IT and business partners and maintenance for current and new sites. Provide leadership and direction for assigned business area, vendors, and consultants. Assist in the identification of IT solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes for AEM Forms.

  • Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment
  • Translate business requirements into Adobe AEM Forms specific implementation specifications.
  • Design and improve internal development methodologies
  • Resolving user-identified functional and technical issues relating to Adobe AEM Forms.
  • Providing input into estimating engagement activities and executing engagements following the Agile methodology including SCRUM.
  • Assisting our client in achieving strategic e-business objectives through technology solution implementation and taking a technical leadership role in some circumstances
  • Define, document and communicate the project status and achieved milestones to clients and internal project team.
  • Close working relationship with infrastructure team
  • Provide support for AEM Forms Systems Administration
Basic Qualifications:

Experience

- Minimum eight (8) years of related experience.

Education

- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AEM Forms Developer
  • DevOps - with strong understanding of Cloud platforms

  • Strong Documentation and processes understanding of the AEM Forms
  • Continuous Integration and Build experience - Jenkins and Maven integration
  • Experience in agile project methodology and delivery
  • Ability to articulate the understanding of requirements Functional/Non functional
  • Experience in defining new architecture and implementing AEM methodologies
  • Good Analytical and Communication skills
  • Self-starter
  • Understands end-to-end architecture (i.e. AEM + Apache + CSS + Javascript )
  • Relevant Java and HTL (previously called slightly experience)
  • Proficient with UNIX
  • Knowledge of DTM (Dynamic Tag Manager)
  • AEM Certification preferred
  • Broad knowledge of systems i.e., web, mobile applications, databases, APIs, consumer electronics and computer languages
  • Designing and developing web applications using the Adobe platform, including site structure, custom components, custom workflows, object model designs (Java APIs), and unit testing.
  • Developing, implementing and configuring web content management solutions using AEM (Adobe CQ) and technologies such as Java, HTML, JavaScript and web services
  • Demonstration of technical leadership role in AEM projects.
  • Experience resolving user-identified functional and technical issues relating to Adobe AEM/CQ.
  • Experience estimating engagement activities and executing engagements following the agile methodology including SCRUM.
  • Experience defining, documenting and communicating project status and achieved milestones to clients and internal project team.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and SDLC light; strong communication skills including verbal and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to interact with business staff who do not have technical skills or background; an understanding of healthcare and healthcare operations a plus.
  • 5 years' minimum experience required in Content Management Systems in general, with at least 5 years' specific AEM experience
  • Bachelor's in computer science, software engineering or similar
  • Hands-on AEM development experience, including design of templates, components, widgets and dialogs
  • Experience with other AEM modules such as DAM, Forms and mobile.
  • Experience with Java development, Java Server Pages and related technologies
  • Experience in JavaScript and front-end frameworks, HTML and CSS. Experience with HTML5, DHTML and CSS3 is considered a PLUS.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with REST, Web Services, Web application frameworks
  • Experience with ORM Java frameworks (Hibernate preferred)
  • Experience with build automation tools such as Ant, Maven and Grade
  • Experience in TDD and test software including jUnit, TestNG, Mock frameworks
  • Knowledge of Java IDEs and source control management (ideally GIT, SVN or similar)
  • Strong adherence to a consistent delivery methodology and associated deliverable generation.
  • Experience in online marketing and advertising including - SEO (Search Engine Optimization) / SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
