This is a great opportunity for a seasoned leader with expertise in the genomics area to grow one of our key business segments: Automation and Microfluidics.

She/he should have expertise designing a product development roadmap, have an extensive network within the genomics community and enjoy collaborating with our clients to be on the forefront of technology advancements. Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of strategic planning efforts and execution planning
  • Identifies new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities
  • Defines the business plan and product development road map
  • Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key global market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share
  • Partners closely with research and development to set the 5 year plan including the creation of new products, validation of early product definitions and commercial launch of new products and services
  • Evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business cases for the optimization of existing products/solutions
  • Develop and foster close relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL)
  • Lead and motivate a team of product managers
  • Achievement of revenue and profit objectives
Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years successful track record managing a product portfolio from a commercial perspective in close collaboration with R&D
  • Domain knowledge of automated liquid handling and microfluidics space is desired
  • Experience developing and executing on the 3-5 year strategy for a global business
Advanced degree is highly desired
