Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field required with 6-8 years related data warehouse experience required and 1-3 years of ETL development experience preferred.

Data modeling, data analysis, and database development experience required and extract transform and load (ETL) development experience preferred. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as with Business Objects, Tableau, SSRS or Cognos is desirable, but not required.

Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Possess excellent human relations and oral and written communication skills.

Ability to support and work within standard software development life cycle practices.

Demonstrates teamwork in facilitating workflow. High level of cooperation with others and is responsive to the CLIENT's needs. Able to put forward ideas for consideration and work toward goals irrespective of whether their ideas are adopted.

Must have excellent problem solving skills, and work cooperatively and collaboratively to bring issues to successful resolution. Analytical thinking, strong judgment and problem analysis techniques.

Very detailed oriented and quality focused. Able to follow clear methodologies for troubleshooting and development.

Exemplary motivation, enthusiasm, professionalism and team skills.

Must be highly organized and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Must be willing to accept responsibility and to show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness.

responsibilities:
Job Requirements

Responsibilities will include and are not limited to the following:

Develops data movement processes for the data warehouse. Includes preparing and executing thorough testing.

Works closely with IT and business team members in the design and implementation of the data warehouse.

Analyzes data structures in existing legacy systems in order to design extract, transform and load processes and data warehouse data structures.

Makes recommendations, based on data profiling and data analysis, for changes to existing/legacy systems particularly in the area of automated data validations.

Uses standard data modeling, data flow, and data documentation tools to analyze, document and present data analysis work.

Works cooperatively with others to resolve data and process issues.

Works with non-technical, subject matter experts to understand underlying data behavior and characteristics in ways that will be new for such non-technical people.

Performs all other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
