INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST

General Summary

Randstad Technologies is currently recruiting for an Information Security Analyst! This crucial role will be responsible for protecting information technology assets by establishing and enforcing access controls, coordinating response to information security incidents, and researching and maintaining awareness of the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities. This role will also involve performing eDiscovery records searches and providing resulting records to the Attorney's and Manager's offices. This person will work with the Information Security Team to verify that all the necessary technical security requirements are met, automate information security processes, and plan, develop, and coordinate information security projects. As a member of the Information Security Team, this individual will assist with facilitating the use of technology to ward off attempts by hackers who are targeting sensitive citizen and corporate information.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Responsibilities:

1. Advise the Chief Security Officer on information security issues related to the systems and workflow at the Company to ensure the internal and external security controls for the Company are appropriate and operating as intended.

2. Assist with maintenance and monitoring of the Information Security threat management practice.

3. Produce Information Security architectures and documentation.

4. Coordinate and execute IT security projects.

5. Coordinate response to information security incidents.

6. Manage remediation plans for any gaps reported in audits or recommended process improvements.

7. Collaborate with IT management, the legal department, risk management, Human Resources and law enforcement agencies to manage security vulnerabilities or investigations.

8. Review client and vendor contracts and agreements for adherence to security provisions and make recommendations for verbiage changes if needed.

9. Complete eDiscovery searches and provide relevant records to requesting departments.

10. Maintain eDiscovery systems, provide recommendations for eDiscovery innovations, and manage projects to improve the eDiscovery process.

11. Conduct security research in keeping abreast of latest security issues.

12. Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

13. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Software Specific Skills:

  • Candidate should have a working knowledge of information security tools such as Nmap, Nessus, metasploit, or other related industry tools.
  • Candidate should have a working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, python, bash, or the ability to learn them.
Education and Experience:

  • Baccalaureate degree in a directly related field with 5 years' experience.
