job summary:
The Senior Analyst - Business Analysis (SBA) leads the work to collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, capture, store, and manage business and user requirements for software solutions, performs analysis in support of site operational efficiencies, and provides leadership and mentoring to junior business analysts.

Essential Job Duties

  • Lead the efforts to work with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, capture and manage business and user requirements for software solutions
  • Lead the effort to develop detailed business and user requirement artifacts to ensure that project requirements are understood by both business and technology stakeholders
  • Lead efforts to perform analysis on business issues to understand the issue, gather input from impacted parties, organize and analyze information, document the pros and cons to possible solution options, recommend a solution, and present results
  • Create functional requirements artifacts including process flows, user stories, user story maps and other artifacts as needed
  • Evaluate existing business processes, uncover areas of improvement, and analyze and recommend both technology and business process solutions
  • Become a subject matter expert on the CLIENT technology product offerings.
  • Work with business and technology stakeholders to help set objectives and key results for CLIENT product offerings
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key business and technology stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to other business analysts
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience as a business or requirements analyst
  • Expert in elicitation and management of business/user requirements and business process modeling
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with requirements management tools and requirements management best practices
  • Very knowledgeable of CLIENT health services contact center operational processes including application intake, premium collection, program and health plan enrollment, correspondence, and document management
  • Experience with multiple IT systems development lifecycles using structured methodologies, including agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with relational databases and executing SQL queries
  • Excellent communication skills
