Threat Modeling Architect

Looking for candidates who can architect, design, define, and implement a Threat Modeling Framework, aggregating disparate information from plethora of systems into a quantitative representation of the tangible and intangible risk of the associated threat and attack vectors

Required Qualifications

  • 10 + years of cyber threat and vulnerability experience at a global private sector firm or government to manage cyber security risk
  • 5 + years of Information Assurance, and/or Security Operation Center experience
  • 3 + years of implementing and/or enforcing cyber security threat or risk management framework experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Understand, aggregate, and transform disparate information sources from various technology platforms to transpose into measured threat and risk in both qualitative and quantitative output
  • Intimate understanding of Attack Surface Analysis and Threat Modeling
  • Expert knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK Framework and implementation/orchestration/automation
  • Working knowledge of advanced technology platforms that comprise of various InfoSec Controls output/reporting into collective measurement and technical analysis
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of various technologies and security technologies based on NIST 'Defense in Depth' model
  • Knowledge and understanding of business requirements gathering and translation to technical requirements
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Customer service focus with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Project Management experience managing multiple participants across multiple teams
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and/or Confluence
 
skills: Other Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of and an ability to discuss information security risks, vulnerabilities, compliance, policy and remediation actions
  • Knowledge of various industry 'Red Team' methodology or Pentest Framework, along with experience implementing the methodology into service model/service offering
  • Master's degree in Business or Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Information Assurance model and defining metrics
  • Ability to integrate data from various security and IT platform to aggregate into reporting and dashboard
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as; policies, control standards, risk management concepts, or information security
