Digital Marketing Manager

job summary:
Our client is looking for someone who has a digital advertising background with experience supporting E-commerce websites. They will be responsible for managing their health product lineup, including: Sports Nutrition, Met-Rx, and Body Fortress brands.

responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Works closely with cross functional teams, including Brand, Analytics, Public Relations, Branding & Content, eCommerce, and others to plan and execute high impact marketing strategies designed to drive results
  • Leads and defines the digital marketing mix, with an emphasis on Social Media, Web, Email and Content Marketing
  • Front line of consumer and audience engagement for Sports Nutrition, including Met-Rx & Body Fortress brands
  • Own and execute the digital brand strategy: Through social media, web, and email, lead the brand's presence and evolution in digital, implementing best practices and utilizing data and insights for continued evolution
  • Embody the client's brand audience and leverage followers and industry for insights, content, ideas and innovation
  • Create and foster brand advocates across all digital and social platforms (current and emerging)
  • Understand digital platforms and upcoming trends with ability to foster into tangible action for brands
  • Leverage brand and consumer insights across to engage and foster stronger consumer engagement across digital platforms
  • Work closely with media agency to develop and execute digital paid media strategies and campaigns
  • Lead project based marketing initiatives such as sweepstakes, influencer and engagement campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day communications with internal teams and agency partners
  • Engage across cross-functional partners Brand, PR, Legal & Regulatory, Branding & Content, IT, etc.
  • Work closely with broader Digital Marketing Team to help instate industry best practices
  • Hands-on roll that requires excellent collaborative, organizational, and creative skills and ability to strategize and execute across multiple digital disciplines
  • Other duties as assigned
 
qualifications:
Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 5+ years of related work experience in digital marketing, content marketing, social media, or copy-writing is required
 
skills:
  • Strong experience with digital content across platforms, and a clear understanding of how content is conceptualized, created, and promoted
  • Experiencing working with digital media based data and analytics, and how to turn insights into actions
  • Experience managing and maintaining content driven websites, email and social media channels
  • A working knowledge of professional and college sports, and/or fitness is highly preferable but not required
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing across all disciplines including social, search, email and websites and content
  • An understanding of digital marketing specific data and analytics, and how to internalize and process insights into actions and plans
  • Strong collaboration skills and an understanding of how to manage communications among a very large cross-functional team
  • Strong writer capable of internalizing and articulating the brand voice, and to clearly present ideas and points of view to internal teams
  • Outgoing, entrepreneurial spirit. This role requires the ability to define direction and strongly present points of view
  • Some travel may be required
