Business Process Analyst

job summary:
We are seeking a results-oriented Business Process Analyst to join our Compliance Process Innovation team. This individual will play a key role in defining, developing and implementing cross-functional process improvements across Compliance. Responsibilities include:

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Owners to define requirements, document and analyze current business processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage process improvement methodologies, specifically Agile, to propose and develop solutions that meet business needs and promote increased efficiency and cycle time.
  • Liaise between business groups, Global Information Technology and the Robotics Process Automation Center of Excellence to identify and implement optimal solutions for backlog of improvement projects.
  • Create quality user and functional requirements, use cases, and current state/future state process maps.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years in analytical role (e.g., Business Analyst, Process Analyst, etc.) acting as liaison between business and IT
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and proven experience working within an Agile project environment
  • Strong working knowledge (Super User) of SharePoint 2013 and ability to do minor configurations within SharePoint and add-on tools.
  • Experience working in financial services, compliance and/or other regulated industries a plus.
  • Strong communication skills a must
  • Practical knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., project scheduling)
  • MS Office proficiency including Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel.
  • Foundational knowledge of, or familiarity with Kanban, Robotics Process Automation a plus
