Information System Assistant

job summary:
The Information System (IS) Assistant will provide IT help desk and administrative support to the CIO and other IS managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup of all hardware and software on all computers
  • Assist in all Departmental projects such as licensing issues, contracts, scheduling, etc.
  • Responsible for organizing ,controlling, and ordering corporate cellular phones throughout North America as well as paying invoices.
  • Help Desk / Trainer - Train and support associates on corporate software such as MS Office, Adobe, Skype for Business, Outlook, and any other software packages.
  • Assistant to CIO and other key IS managers.
  • Primary Helpdesk technician assigning Helpdesk ticket to proper groups.
  • Backup to Network Administrator for backup systems
  • Order IT Equipment thru 3 rd party vendors when needed.
Qualifications:

  • High School diploma and some college required.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in office environment with strong phone skills and capacity to quickly learn technical oriented duties.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Skype for Business, Adobe, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome preferred.
  • Knowledge of Polycom Phones, Remote desktop apps and JDE a plus
