job description

Information Architect 2 (UX Designer)

job summary:
In this role, you'll be responsible for bringing our client's workplace clients-some of the nation's largest employers- and their employees into the design process to understand their attitudes and needs around employee health care benefits. You'll translate it all into engaging and hospitable online and responsive-ready. You'll also need the creativity to architect, design and support deployment activities for these experiences, as well as the presentation skills to convey your vision to the project team and our client's senior executives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong information architecture and interaction design skills. Although the role is part of a team that includes user research, content strategy, visual design and front-end development, familiarity and collaboration with those disciplines is a necessity. In addition, given the distributed nature of the overall project team, wherein business partners and development partners sit in other locations, superb communication and "soft" skills are required.

PROJECT DETAIL

The IA will join the team under the direction of the UX Director. Tasked with helping establish a north star for a great customer experience, you will be collaborating closely with a cross-functional team to understand & interpret the needs of the user while balancing the needs of the business and technology. To depict how the user experience could come to life, you'll partner with the UX Director to define the high-level flows and architect the detailed interactions (and everything in between). Strong empathy paired with the analytical and creative ability to translate business, user and technology needs into is a must.

ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES
