Senior Financial Systems Analyst, BPC

job summary:
The Senior Analyst of Corporate Financial Systems will be responsible for supporting and standardizing data and reporting capabilities across our financial systems. This includes supporting Corporate as well as the global finance organization's planning, reporting and analytics needs. The finance systems environment today consists of General Ledger (SAP), Management Reporting & Planning Systems (Oracle PBCS), Financial Reporting & Consolidations (SAP BPC) and a Compensation Planning System.

The successful candidate will be a technology savvy finance professional who can create standard reports and update existing scripts in order to optimize finance systems to enable better reporting capabilities. Top candidates will demonstrate excellent data analysis and communication skills.

  • Support the efforts to consolidate and standardize financial reporting processes throughout the global finance organization - consolidations & GL Close, forecast, board and weekly sales updates.
  • Perform analysis, design, and development of all close and forecast reporting templates and formats.
  • Document key operating metrics and work with department team to add in the financial systems
  • Assist with maintenance of accounts, business rules, metadata mappings, security and organizational structures, including multiple consolidations and reporting hierarchies (specifically in Oracle PBCS and SAP BPC systems)
  • Support business growth through integration of data received from acquisitions in order to consolidate, report, budget and forecast at a combined Company level (legacy and future).
  • Write and maintain documentation on reporting, business processes and system processes.
  • Provide end-user support and manage internal customer communications.
  • Prepare adhoc reports and analysis to support CFO and Controller's organization.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Hyperion & SAP BPC hands on administration a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, SAP BPC and Oracle PBCS Excel reporting with the ability to manipulate and digest mass amounts of data.
  • Experience supporting global retail organizations with an understanding of multi-currency ledgers.
  • Education: Bachelors of Science or graduate degree in Accounting / Finance, minor or dual degree in IS a plus.
