Minimum Skill Requirement:

1. At least 5-7 years of development and requirement gathering experience in creating and unit testing Message flows using WebSphere Message Broker V7 or IBM Integration Bus

2. Knowledge of integration patterns and the role of message broker in integration

3. Excellent knowledge of Java

4. Excellent knowledge of ESQL (Extended Structured Query Language)

5. In-depth knowledge of standards/technologies that enables messaging including XML, WSDL, SOAP, HTTP and SSL.

6. Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers

7. Design and Development of REST APIs with integrations to internal and external vendor APIs

8. Knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot and API documentation (Swagger).

9. Nice to have exposure to Docker, PCF and API Connect

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for engaging with cross functional teams to gather development requirements, staying update with evolution of project and communicate issues.

- Understand a range of requirements from system level down to field level processing requirements. Prepare essential documents to communicate development tasks for onshore and offshore resources.

- Analyze and solve integration related problems extending from basic to extremely obscure issues. Be able to communicate resolutions to other functional teams or members of your own team.

- Monitor progression of assigned tasks in order to keep project schedules on track.

- Be able to provide assistance to developers in order to keep development on course.

- Initiate communication with project teams, developers and management to insure that all levels of the organization have the appropriate information.

- Knowledge transfer of project information as part of the production turnover stage. Be able to prepare documents to transfer knowledge to the support team. This can take multiple forms of communication which will include a Knowledge

- Assist with cross functional system testing. Confirm that data is being presented in a manner that is consistent with requirement. Investigate why issues are occurring in the test results based on the source and destination data.

- Responsible for presenting a verity of objects for review and approval. This will include but not limited to Requirement Document, Design Document, Test Document and integration flows.

- Understand Architecture Documents and help keep them up to date as requirements evolve.

- Plan and manage deployment activities
