Business Analyst

job summary:
Primary Responsibilities:

· Conducts business process analysis and needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.

· Coordinate system requirement tasks to include product design, integration, and testing considerations in conjunction with development team and management.

· Possesses well-developed organization skills and the demonstrated ability to multitask, including the ability to manage multiple diverse projects with competing deadlines.

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

· Works system support issues via a ticketing system, email inbox, and other various input channels.

· Complete all processes and migrations according to defined rules, standards and guidelines.

· Conducts research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and develops formal recommendations to management.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures.

· Analyze business unit requests and understand business requirements, work with various technical staff members to determine possible solutions and communicate business and system impacts to IT and Operations staff.

· Prepare "as is" and "future state" documentation in written and graphical form (flows). May use project management methodologies to support a systems development methodology to meet project deliverables.

· Serve as a liaison to all business unit and across divisions if necessary, when gathering requirements.

· DECISION MAKING: Successful candidate conforms to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

· Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.

· Assists/supports developing and completing actions in system specifications including technical requirements, product requirements, test considerations, operational concerns, and system constraints

· Interact with co-workers, project teams and business areas to develop decision-making documentation (i.e. business case) for potential new product development approaches

· Participates in the effort to develop new or revised processes or procedures in lieu of system development and assist with business process analysis and needs assessments in an effort to align IT solutions with business initiatives.

· Provide test scenarios or test criteria based on knowledge gained through business and systems analysis. May provide approval or quality check on test plans or test matrix.

Need to have experience with - AWD,

Appian experience is a plus or BPMN experience.
