Technical Support Specialist

job summary:
  • Perform various daily and monthly operations
  • Support and Troubleshoot Windows Network
  • Support and Troubleshoot PCs (hardware/software) and Office Equipment

responsibilities:




  • Perform various daily and monthly operations
  • Support and Troubleshoot Windows Network
  • Support and Troubleshoot PCs (hardware/software) and Office Equipment
  • Maintain and Update PC Security Patches/Virus Protection
  • Root cause analysis
  • Resolve hardware and software problems
  • Implement, monitor and correct procedures
  • Implement all plans, priorities and initiatives within scope of accountability
















OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Required to work overtime during end-of-month/end-of-year processing, and in emergency/special situations, including but not limited to, system failures, power failures, equipment failures, disasters, and equipment or software upgrades
  • Required to participate in Credit Union events as necessary
  • Comply with all MIT and MIT Federal Credit Union policies and procedures and State and Federal laws
  • Utilize opportunities to present to and/or refer current and potential members to the products and services of the Credit Union
  • Complete required BSA/AML training
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of BSA/AML policies and procedures and implement as necessary in daily activities.
  • Other duties needed or required




 
qualifications:
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016
  • Microsoft Windows desktop deployment and Support
  • Microsoft Office, Exchange and Outlook
  • Microsoft Certification preferred
  • Minimum of one (2) year Information Technology experience. Two (3) preferred.
  • Experience Troubleshooting and Maintaining PCs in a Windows environme
