Reviews violations of computer security procedures to eliminate violations. Excludes paraprofessional positions. 5-10 years of experience. The Senior IT Security Analyst position will provide technical support for tools leveraged by the Threat & Vulnerability Management team to perform vulnerability assessments and monitoring in accordance with NERC CIP standards. This role will be responsible for providing application support for a security platform which performs vulnerability assessments and monitoring for configuration changes on NERC CIP assets. Additionally, individuals will be expected to act as a champion for vulnerability management and information security including broadening awareness and use of the team's services, education of security best practices and integration with other business areas.

- Provide application support for vulnerability and integrity management platforms

- Work with application end users and functional support personnel to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues

- Facilitate application upgrades and configuration changes to tool platforms

- Assist with gathering evidence, performing routine tasks to achieve compliance with NERC CIP regulatory requirements, and responding to internal or external regulatory requests

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation

- Identify opportunities to leverage tool functionality to improve the cybersecurity posture throughout the organization

- Assist as needed with executing vulnerability scans and after hours on-call team support responsibilities

- Stay abreast with the latest cybersecurity news and developments and assist with identifying, assessing, researching and disclosing threats and vulnerabilities

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience performing technical support for security tools (industry vulnerability and integrity management platforms as a plus)

- 3+ years of Cybersecurity or physical security experience preferred

- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols

- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

- Experience with programming languages and regular expressions: Python, Perl, Powershell, Java, .Net, ANSI SQL

- Experience working as a developer and familiar with application vulnerabilities and secure coding practices (experience working with application vulnerability scanning software, a plus)

- Experience performing vulnerability scans and researching and assessing threats and security vulnerabilities

- Knowledge of cybersecurity domains and security practices

- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external business partners

- Positive attitude and aptitude for learning new technologies

- Ability to thoroughly document work processes, communicate, and adhere to processes

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

- Ability to effectively prioritize activities and focus team efforts based-on priority

- Ability to research independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines under tight timeframes.

- Ability to resolve complex issues
