Project Coordinator

job summary:
Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the currency of the Practice and Provider Services portfolio as construction projects indicate

- Provide IT support to ensure delivery of practice projects on time, on budget and meeting scope and quality expectations

- Maintain the assigned project portfolio by keeping the project health details updated and all required project artifacts in the Portfolio Strategy Operations documentation repository

- Contribute to the constant improvement of the Portfolio Strategy Operations and support the project management methodology

- Requirements Gathering

- Create Due Diligence resource request with all required resources for the project

-Work with each resource to determine what tasks will be required

-Monitor circuit orders if required

- Procurement

-Work with regional team to determine required project budget. Track and report budget expenses related to infrastructure expenses.

-Obtain Budget Line Detail and Project Set up for from Fixed Assets Team

-Complete Financial Workflow documentation to create approval work flow for project

-Obtain quotes for required hardware from various resource

-Create requisitions in Peoplesoft

-Provide vendor with Purchase Order

-Follow up on orders shipment and provide updates to team

-Point person for invoicing issues once shipped

-Requisition Change Requests

- Remedy / Change Management

-Open Service Request for work required for resources

-Create change ticket for change

-Present to Change Approval Board

Minimum Requirements:

- 2-4 years' experience in IT project management, requirements definition, building systems solutions and/ or deployment of business requirements to information systems

Critical Skills:

- Project management lifecycle knowledge in a technical/IT environment with software application, construction and infrastructure style projects

- Ability to support project manager in the planning and execution of multiple short and long-term projects toward effective solutions and according to budget and timelines

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills to various levels of the organization (staff to executive)

- Experience using SDLC and/or agile project methodologies

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project and MS Visio

Additional Knowledge/Skills

- Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred

- Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain experience, a plus

- Process improvement experience a plus

- Agile and/or Scrum certification or equivalent experience a plus

- Knowledge of ITIL foundations principals and methodology (IITIL certifications a plus)

- Working knowledge of contract negotiations, resource capacity planning and budget forecasting

Education:

4-year degree in computer science, MIS or related field or equivalent experience

Additional Skills:

1. Finance / Procurement experience

2. Excellent organizational skills

3. Strong written & oral communications

4. Project Management Methodology

5. Expert in Excel
