Generates application engineering policies, standards and procedures. Lead, design, develop, test and implement the most complex design requirements, application systems components, tools and utilities, including the most complex modeling, simulation, and analytic development efforts. Plan, perform and resolve escalated platform coding and testing issues of a technically challenging nature. Responsible for defining opportunities across IT to maximize assets and improve processes while reducing cost. Ensures that system improvements are monitored to increase efficiency. The Electronic Trading team has a need to implement more detailed and interactive
monitoring of the trading systems. This will require changes in the systems being
monitored, specialized skillets to build custom tooling and deeps experience with
network based monitoring.
Electronic trading needs monitoring of infrastructure (network, servers, storage),
and application to reduce operational risks, collect monitoring metrics for analysis,
detect anomalies for awareness and optimization, and help protect business
growth in a very competitive trading environment
C++ (nice to have)
skills: Strong modeling and coding abilities. Ability to design monitoring tools. Capable of identifying bottlenecks in data flows. Strong experience with low latency environment, knowlegeable of timing component of systems. Multithreading and messaging experience.
