Configuration Analyst / BA
The successful candidate will be an active participate in a cross functional team of technology and business experts tasked to collectively work together to achieve the successful implementation of a core claims administration platform, HealthRules Payor (HRP). The Configuration Analyst will play a key role in analyzing requirements, configuring the system components within HRP, and reviewing/validating the configuration with the Business owners.

Responsibilities and Functions :
As part of an agile approach, build out and test various system configuration items which may include Benefits, Provider Contracts, Members, and/or Claims
Develop a deep understanding of the Health Rules Payor system capabilities and evaluate requirements to determine configuration design
Provide analysis and documentation that supports configuration management, design, requirements traceability, and audits
Understand the end to end solution design for core claim processing, including understanding of the integration with other components of the core claims platform that interface with HRP and understanding of the business process activities that utilize HRP configuration to support business requirements
Provide support for activities related to training , communication, and transition of resources that will manage the configuration and audit functions of the system
EDUCATION: (Minimum education & certifications required)
Bachelor's degree required, certification in medical coding is a plus.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years minimum experience in Health Insurance or delivery with a working knowledge in one or more operational areas including Claims, Provider Contracting and Reimbursement, Product and Benefit Design, Enrollment, or Medical Code sets
skills: SKILL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must be able to work cooperatively as a team member, possess a strong ability to analyze complex business problems and develop system solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical. Candidate must be able to adapt to change and manage shifting priorities and timelines.
