This particular role would support the Distribution Centers facilities - permitting/ license compliance, data collection, reporting to state agencies.

responsibilities:
Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions) - List in order of importance

Day to Day Compliance Program Support:

  • Coordinate schedules and timing of environmental services across US operations
  • Collect and maintain all records of environmental services according to Company and applicable regulatory standards
  • Manage environmental communication channels supporting retail, supply chain and Services
  • Coordinate data collection for performance metrics used to measure environmental compliance
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
  • Identify opportunities for program improvement and execute improvement plans
  • Review and edit standard operating procedures
  • Support and execute other projects as assigned
Licensing and Reporting

  • File all permits, payments and annual reports applicable to hazardous materials management and hazardous waste generation
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control of all data used to populate permits, reports and performance metrics
  • Maintain hazardous materials business plans and associated data for all retail, supply chain and services locations in California's Environmental Reporting System
  • Maintain centralize record keeping process for environmental permits and annual reports obligations
Environmental Enforcement

  • Aggregate records and documentation related to environmental inspections and government inquiries
Typical Day in the role:

Assessed all Supply Chain locations to identify if there were gaps and level set to where they were at for compliance by location. Analyzing all data that was collected, organize to ensure consolidation at corp. Inputting data into Sharepoint site. Determine actions needed by location per the data - such as do they need to update permits, request new permits: etc. Reaching out to government agencies
