LAMP Engineer

job summary:
Randstad is looking for a LAMP Engineer to join our client's team on a direct hire basis in the 92037 area of San Diego, CA. This Admin will be responsible for our clients System Operations and must be proficient with server maintenance, troubleshoot server and web based application issues and Automation (Python/Bash). In this role this candidate will be supporting internal and external users that are hosted on their servers (100+ user base hosted on 1,000 servers) so having stellar customer service is critical. In order to be successful in this role this person will need to be well versed in Linux Administration (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc), basic network troubleshooting, MS Office Suite and programming or the ability to create scripts (Bash, Shell, Python, PowerShell, etc.). It is a 24/7 environment which includes an on call rotation.

  1. 5+ years supporting Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc),
  2. Basic Networking Troubleshooting

  6. Proficient with Python or Bash Scripting
  7. Able to monitor, Build Tools, Automate and deploy system drivers on Linux OS
  8. The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  9. Able to work in a 24/7 on call basis (rotation will be every 3-4 weeks for a whole week)
