Salesforce Engineer

job summary:
We are looking for a Salesforce Engineer to join a development team where we focus on our Customer & Creator Support channels. We are a creative, fun and friendly workplace where you get to be part of developing a product that is used by millions of listeners and thousands of creators around the globe. You will together with your fellow Salesforce engineers (and developers of all kinds across the organization) enable Spotify to deliver the best support thinkable for both our customers and creators. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

What you'll do

* Design & develop high quality features/services using Apex, Visualforce, Javascript and other web development technologies

* Integrate Salesforce with internal and 3rd party services

* Work with Lightning (Experience & Components)

* Collaborate with your team to improve the internal development process and tools

* Define and improve architecture, and optimize performance of very complex software systems

* Be part of an agile team that owns the end to end experience for our Support Advisors

* Together with your peers do code reviews, write tests, etc. to ensure that the feature is delivered with highest quality

* Work from our office in New York

Who you are

* You are experienced, with 3+ years of Salesforce development

* You have experience in building usable and scalable systems/applications

* You have experience building a Salesforce Service Cloud implementation

* You are happy and willing to extend you software development skills outside of Salesforce

* You have a deep understanding of compliance, user privacy concerns/issues/regulations

' You enjoy working in a global team and share the ownership of the Spotify customer service experience

* You learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and work methods

* You like to drive the best possible solution on whatever system you are working on
