Rf Test Engineer

job summary:






Position Summary: As an RF testing Engineer in the radar group, you will be responsible for testing new cutting edge radar designs used in a wide range automotive applications, using your extensive technical background and measurement experiences.

Specific Duties:

  • Run detailed sensor validation to analyze/evaluate RF and system performance for regulatory requirements, as well as sensor validation and calibration.
  • Characterize, improve and optimize RF performance using MATLAB, C# and other object oriented programming language for instrument automation coding.
  • Manage hands-on debug, validation and generate testing report for sensor performance.
  • Evaluate HW compatibility with new SW versions.
  • Working closely with the HW, SW and Signal Processing team to ensure the product meets the specifications.
  • Engineering station maintenance like gage R&R, calibration and maintaining golden units.


Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • MSEE or equivalent experience with 5 years of working experience. Strong background in RF electronic circuit design/development. Automotive experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with circuit design based on mixed technology (analog and digital) for automotive application.
  • Experiences in RF electronics design tools such as: circuit simulator, CAD and lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, RF signal generators, scopes) are required.
  • Experience working with anechoic chambers is a plus.
  • Experience with RF products packaged in mechanical assembly.
  • Knowledge in RF electronic component technologies is essential.
  • Flexibility and comfort working in a fast paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good spoken and written English.
