Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for qualified engineers to expand its business unit dedicated to developing multiple types of LRUs. for avionics.

salary: $60 - 70 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
We are seeking a multi-disciplinary senior engineer with experience in model based development, to develop control software, preferable with experience in the navigation and guidance areas. The candidate shall be able to design, implement, and verify embedded flight electronics software algorithms using Mathlab/Simulink, working under minimal direction.
Process: Structured (e.g. DO-178B like) (Avionics preferred, would also consider Automotive or Medical)
Domain: Avionics - Model Based Development
Environment: MathLab/Simullink, Stateflow, C++
Other: Embedded software development, Configuration Management, FAA Certification experience
skills: Degree in engineering, computer science mathematics or equivalent.
BS 7+ years, MS 5+ year or PhD 4+ years of experience in software development
At least 3 years of hands on experience in regulated industries (avionics, automotive, medical, etc.)
5+ years of extensive use of Simulink for developing designing/control systems for Vehicles
3+ experience with auto generated code for embedded systems (C++ preferable, other OO languages may be acceptable)
Modeling Experience with Dynamic Systems / Vehicles
DO-178B Experience or equivalent
Modeling Experience with Navigation/Guidance
DO-331 (model based development for Avionics)
