Support Analyst Tier 2

job summary:
Our client is in immediate need of a Support Analyst Tier 2 to join a young and dedicated team. Day-to-day activity includes projects, end user support and local meeting support to both c-level folks and 2000+ internal employees.

 
location: Plano, Texas
job type: Contract
salary: $19 - 22 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: No Degree Required
 
responsibilities:
  • Hours Required - 11am to 8pm CST preferred.
  • Within reasonable commute to the site to avoid coverage gaps.
  • Local site has 210 staff and matrix to support all 2000+ internal employee's.
  • Junior Tier 2 skills, not a seasoned veteran. 1-2 yrs tier two experience.
  • Eager to learn, energetic team player.
  • Must collaborate daily with other Tier 2 Staff and Departments.
  • Handles Tier 2 escalations through to resolution, either by self or by working with Tier 2 peers and peer IT department teams.
  • Comfortable with walk up Executive/C-Level end user support as needed. Local Meeting support as needed.
  • Video conferencing knowledge - nice to have but not required. Polycom
  • Polycom IP phones - Genesys phone system (Interactive Intelligence)
  • Citrix experience preferred but not required. (Understanding of Virtualized workstations)
  • Service Now experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and in writing.
  • Self-starter looks for proactive solutions.
  • As needed - open to weekend or after hours support.
  • Technical writing experience (e.g., Knowledge Base Articles).
  • Weekly rotation for 1 team member (Possibly 2) to physically support the Lewisville location.
