Sr. IT SECURITY ANALYST
Position focuses on improving cyber security posture of the enterprise through participation in various cyber security projects and initiatives as well as cyber security aspects of business and IT projects. Position also includes periodic operational support revolving around Palo Alto firewalls. Ideal candidates would have a solid understanding of enterprise networks, hands-on design experience, and relevant industry certifications. Candidates with a strong Telecom background who wish to transition into careers in cyber security are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities & Duties: ?
Leads/participates in cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
Maintains security framework across the enterprise.
Operationalizes new security solutions.
Understands enterprise security standards/requirements.
Drives security requirements through the organization.
Proactively identifies/recommends solutions/resolves potential security gaps.
Participates in on-call rotation duties.
Provides increased availability during Storm Mode, wide impacting service disruption events (SDEs), and security response events.
Adheres to proper Change Management and Human Performance requirements and processes.
Represents IT Security organization professionally in interaction with internal business partners and other IT Support groups.
Advanced TCP/IP knowledge.
Understanding of security principles.
Experience analyzing and troubleshooting network traffic.
Experience providing end to end network design or support.
Experience assisting other teams with the analysis of application problems.
Relevant industry certifications.
5-7 years of relevant work experience in Information Technology.
skills: Desired Qualifications:
Current Cisco CCNP - credentials will be verified.
Current Cisco CCDA - credentials will be verified.
Cisco CCDP - does not have to be current.
Cyber security project experience.
Network engineering/design/project experience.
Additional relevant industry certifications.
Experience with Wireless network infrastructure support and/or design.
7-10 years of relevant work experience in Information Technology.
Experience with security tools.
Experience with F5 technologies.
Experience with Bluecoat Proxy technologies.
Experience with Palo Alto technologies.
Experience troubleshooting across firewall infrastructure.
Ability to perform self-directed work.
Ability to independently prioritize daily work.
Ability to carry out daily work responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Strong team player.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.
Demonstrated leadership in technical roles.

Two-year associates degree in relevant field.
